Dental Tourism in Bogotá, Colombia
Updated October 2026.
Hello! I’m Dr. Verónica Rodríguez, a dentist with 20 years of experience. Many of my patients write to me from the United States, Spain, Puerto Rico and other countries to have their treatment in Bogotá. Here I explain how many days you need to stay, how many trips each treatment takes, what it costs in dollars, and how we help you with your trip.
At a glance
- Where: Cedritos, in the north of Bogotá, Colombia
- Who treats you: Dr. Verónica Rodríguez, 20 years of experience, and her team of specialists
- Trips: 1 for veneers and crowns, 2 for implants
- Prices: Published in US dollars, same as local patients pay
- Language: Dr. Verónica speaks English
How many days do you need in Bogotá?
It depends on the treatment. This is what is normal in my practice; in your assessment I confirm the exact days for your case.
| Treatment | Trips | Days in Bogotá |
|---|---|---|
| Crowns | 1 | 7 days |
| Veneers and smile makeover | 1 | 1 week |
| Dental implants | 2 | 7 to 15 days, and about 6 months later, 7 to 10 days |
| All on 6 (fixed teeth for a full arch) | 2 | 15 days, and later 10 days |
| Invisalign | 2, with virtual check-ups | 2 nights to get your aligners, and one trip at the end |
Implants take two trips because the implant needs a few months to bond with the bone before we place the crown. Meanwhile you are at home, and we stay in touch with you on WhatsApp.
How does it work before you travel?
- You send us your request with the form below, and then three photos of your smile and a short video of your bite. With that we do your virtual assessment, or a video call if you prefer.
- For implants, you also send a recent panoramic X-ray so we can see the bone and the roots.
- I send you your plan: the treatment, how many trips you need, how many days to stay and the price, before you buy your ticket.
- You come to Bogotá and we start your treatment on the day we agreed.
How much does it cost in dollars?
The prices are the same my patients in Bogotá pay, shown in US dollars so you can compare.
| Treatment | Price |
|---|---|
| Teeth whitening (2 sessions) | US$383 |
| Zirconia crown, per tooth | US$710 |
| Dental implant with its crown | US$1,358 |
| Mini smile makeover | US$1,473 |
| Smile makeover with 6 resin veneers | US$2,041 |
| Invisalign | US$2,439 to US$4,292 |
| Smile makeover with 6 porcelain veneers | US$3,523 |
| All on 6, per arch | US$11,362 |
Smile makeover with veneers includes cleaning, stain removal and whitening. For implants, the CT scan and extractions are free. See the details in veneers in Colombia, dental implants in Colombia, my full price list and how it compares with U.S. prices.
Can you get Invisalign if you live abroad?
Yes, and it works very well. Check-ups are virtual, so you don’t need to come to Bogotá every month.
- You get the scan and the photo kit at a radiology center in your city and send us the information.
- You pay 50% and the orthodontist reviews and approves your plan.
- About 2 months later you travel to Bogotá to get your aligners. It is a two-night trip.
- When your treatment ends, you travel again to have them removed.

- Rides to the clinic: also optional, in case you prefer not to move around the city on your own.
- Hotel: we help you find a place to stay near the clinic, in Cedritos.
- Always reachable: before, during and after your trip you can call us at +1 (786) 756-0649 or write to us. I speak English, and so does our assistant.
How do you pay if you live abroad?
You can pay by credit or debit card (Visa, Mastercard, Amex), bank transfer or payment link. Prices are the same my patients in Bogotá pay.
Do you need a visa?
Citizens of the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and the European Union can enter Colombia as tourists without a visa. Your passport is enough.
The clinic is at Calle 140 # 11-45, office 713, in Cedritos, Usaquén, in the north of Bogotá. See before and after photos of my patients.
A trend that keeps growing
- 9.6 million adults in the U.S. have traveled abroad for dental treatment, and 58% did it because care costs less outside the country, according to the national survey published by the CareQuest Institute for Oral Health in June 2026.
- 26,786 foreign patients entered Colombia for medical treatment in 2025, 18.4% more than in 2024, and between January and August 2026 the number grew another 17.6%. Bogotá is the city that receives the most (data from Migración Colombia published by ANATO).
- Colombian hospitals appear in Newsweek’s World’s Best Hospitals 2026, among them the Fundación Santa Fe de Bogotá.
